Use the Study Abroad Course Database to view courses that have been officially reviewed at UMD. This database can help you find locations that may have courses to satisfy your graduation requirements, without needing to get the course reviewed at UMD.

View and sort courses by:

Country
University Abroad
UMD Department, Course Code, or Course Title
UMD Liberal Education Category

Important Tips:

NOTE: Courses listed are valid for 5 years from the date they were reviewed. So, make sure the course you're interested in is still valid and offered the particular term you plan to go abroad.
You're not limited to these courses! The database does not list all courses offered by our universities abroad. Check out study abroad program webpages to find current course offerings. If you find something you'd like to take, get it reviewed by UMD.
Universities may offer similar courses in a specific subject area. If the database has a course in a specific subject, that university likely has other similar courses offered. If there's something that could be a good fit, get the course reviewed at UMD.

Then, check out courses in the database.

If you found a course that fits your plan, add it to the list of courses you'll take abroad on your Academic Planning Form.

If you didn't find a course that will work for you in the database, look for other courses at universities abroad and et the courses reviewed at UMD.

Lastly, finalize your academic plan.
