Hey! I’m Lizzy, and I’m pursuing a double major in Marketing and Professional Sales. During the spring 2026 semester, I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona, Spain. While abroad, I lived with three randomly assigned roommates in an apartment just four blocks from the Sagrada Família, the iconic basilica designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Living in the heart of Barcelona gave me the opportunity to fully immerse myself in Spanish culture, meet so many amazing people, and experience everyday life in a completely new environment. One of the highlights of my semester was traveling. I visited more than eight countries and spent three weekends exploring different parts of Spain. From experiencing new cultures to navigating unfamiliar places, studying abroad pushed me outside of my comfort zone and gave me memories and experiences that I’ll carry with me for years to come.
Most memorable views during your travels.
I spent a long weekend traveling in Morocco! While I was there I was able to see the Sahara Desert and go hot air ballooning in Marrakech.

Spending time with my people and getting outside!
What gets me out of bed in the morning?
Caffeine and a busy schedule
Best advice to a future study abroad student.
Do it scared! Don't let the fear or nerves stop you from such an amazing experience. Also keep an open mind to everything, people, food, places, and experiences.

Travel to Australia and New Zealand!
