Hello! My name is Tiffany and I am majoring in Public Health and Spanish. I studied abroad in July 2024 in Salamanca Spain and again for Summer 2025 in San Jose, Costa Rica. I loved the immersive experiences I got from living with a host family and earning credits towards both of my degrees! I will always be grateful and reminiscent of my time in Costa Rica because studying abroad was one of my favorite decisions I have made, and I hope to continue with more education abroad in the future! From studying abroad I met my super fun and amazing roommate Gaby, we traveled to a dozen cities to enjoy beaches, national parks, volcanoes, I completed a healthcare internship at a local clinic, I took dancing and boxing classes, and I learned about the Costa Rican culture and healthcare system.

The sunsets on the pacific coast of Costa Rica, specifically Tamarindo and Santa Teresa!
What makes you happy?
Nature, seeing friends, and exploring new places.
What gets me out of bed in the morning?
Knowing I always have something to do!
Best advice to a future study abroad student.
Have fun, introduce yourself to new people, and say yes to hanging out with friends or classmates! It's normal to have bad days here and there, but if you are having bad weeks reach out for help!
